As a storyteller at heart, it is difficult to be brief. Growing up in Brazil, teaching in the Dominican Republic, and adopting from foster care make that story even longer. Hopefully I'll be able to share more about myself and my family life through my writing, graphic designs, and the occasional video.

What you definitely need to know is that my life has been lived in relationship with a faithful God. My end of that relationship has experienced peaks and valleys over the years. Since I've picked up my cross to follow Jesus Christ, it has rarely been easy. I've experienced loneliness, tight budgets, struggled with depression and people pleasing, disappointing relationships, and plenty of frustration and anger.

Ultimately though, God has blessed me far greater than I deserve. He has given me loving family and friends, a supportive church community, and a passion for: teaching, serving, and shepherding others. I know Him as a Good Father, a Savior who relates to my human experiences, and a Holy Spirit who leads me to victory amidst trials and insecurities.
